An AZ Thanksgiving

We were able to take the (long, holiday traffic) drive to AZ for this Thanksgiving and we loved every minute! (our time in AZ, not the traffic!) My sister was able to come too with Ryder and it was so fun to have all the little boys together. Gabriel and Ryder especially loved playing together and it was sweet to watch their interactions.

My mom making her famous cedar plank salmon on the grill. The weather was warm and nice so we were outside alot

One of the days we went to a little farm and made friends with some goats and bunnies and ran around in a hay bale maze

Another day we LOVED exploring the train museum in Phoenix- it was awesome. They had the biggest model train exhibit. I think Weston would have stayed in there all day

With the thanksgiving feast leftovers, my sister made the best turkey nachos! Let me say that Andrew was just a little bit excited

Thanks Omie and Grandpa for all the love and toys and fun! We loved spending Thanksgiving with you in your beautiful home, we are very thankful to have you as parents and grandparents. We are so blessed!

Nantucket Island

Gotta finish our trip to NE before I forget- for those of you who are interested ( mom and dad!) :)
We left Vermont early so we had breakfast on the road and found a nice big Green Mountain Coffee to send us off! We spent a few hours in the car and enjoyed the scenery and each other along the way to Port Hyannis, Cape Cod.

WELL, it was a gorgeous day to enjoy the cape :) ( as they say) We had a lovely bowl of chowder on the water as we waited for our boat to take us to Nantucket.

We landed late afternoon and were captivated instantly by the island. It's such an enchanting place. You must go!!! It's an old whaling town. Heard of the classic novel Moby Dick? The true story version came from this place. It was very quiet on the island since it was the off season and basically everything was shutting down the week after we left. So it was nice to explore at a relaxed pace.

The place we stayed at was so sweet and cozy with the yummiest tea and cookies

The next day was Sunday and we found a great church to attend. After that we had a yummy lunch and went on a tour of the island.

There is an excellent whaling museum on the island that we loved, so interesting!

We loved this almost too perfect place!
